Existing Property Demolition and New Build Construction

Requirement- Existing house to be removed and new house to be built.

Custom design was worked through and built due to section boundaries being irregular due to South-East boundary line diagonally cutting in towards the back section. Section use was maximised to get better space utilisation resulting in a spacious backyard section and ample secured parking at the front of the section. Asbestos was discovered during the demolition stage and was removed as per Asbestos Management Procedures. Overall, client was happy from the pricing offered and the quality of workmanship.

Custom Indoor Temple

Customised temple with feature tiles and bespoke lighting solutions. Specification and design was personalized with multiple iterations until a suitable design was agreed. The dome/tower (Śikhara) was tailor designed and constructed with old recyclable timber that was salvaged from a house demolition.

Full Interior Painting

Requirement- Customer had tenants move out but the property was significantly damaged and required repair and painting. Property was listed for sale and was in really bad condition. Work was committed to on the same day of initial visit and was prioritised to be finished in 5 days due to the property being listed for sale on the market. Damaged walls were repaired and full interior painting was carried out for the house including walls, ceilings, doors and trims.

Feedback from Customer– The painting carried out by Regi is flawless and the entire interior looks immaculate. Even the prospective tenants who visited the House marvelled at the décor. The paint work gave the House an extreme makeover and a great facelift.

Kitchen Area Modification

Requirement- Customer required kitchen cupboards and benchtop to be modified to accommodate a larger oven. Existing oven had a smaller space and the benchtop was too narrow and right up to the corners causing residue buildup and damage. This spacing had to be increased to install a new oven that was larger. Draws were converted to a door storage unit after customisation. Benchtop was altered on both sides to improve cleaning space and reduce chances of any damage due to heat transfer.


Feedback from Customer– This was one of those contentious work that not many tradesmen will be keen to take at a reasonable cost. Regi displayed remarkable creativity and ingenuity to increase the cavity space for the new Stove without interfering with the outlook of the kitchen cabinetry. No one will be able to know that the cabinet has been modified.

Roof Rust Restoration

Requirement- Garage roof was in very poor and deteriorating condition with rust highly visible and spreading. Customer had a restricted budget so alternative options were sought and repair and remediation seemed to be suited as best option. Full complete rust restoration carried out including:

  • Preparation- Pressure washing, drying, surface rust removal
  • Treatment- application of rust converter
  • Primer- Base-coat application
  • Finishing- Top coat x 2

 

All fixing items, joints and corner areas were hand-touched to ensure proper sealing and roof was fully restored. Weather was monitored throughout the process and works were planned to effectively consider moisture and rainfall issues to avoid any interference with the rust treatment process.

Fence Remediation

Requirement- Initial fence was in poor condition due to sagging & leaning in multiple areas, damage caused by lack of retaining for garden area adjacent to the fence and lack of maintenance. Customer had a restricted budget so alternative options were sought with repair, slight modifications and remediation deemed as the best option to proceed. This option was implemented as the best sustainable approach due to the existing fence materials still having considerable remaining life and worked as a cost saving for the customer. The garden area was also retained properly to avoid any future damage to the fence.

Feedback from Customer– The work done on the fence has given a new life to our home! It has by far, made the biggest difference to the overall look of our home/yard.

Conservatory Roof Restoration

Requirement- Pergola roof was deteriorating in condition due to presence of surrounding trees and no maintenance carried out since initial installation. Full roof restoration carried out including:

  • Preparation- Pressure washing, drying, hand-cleaning, removal of edge seals.
  • Primer- Base-coat application
  • Finishing- Top coat

Completed in 2 days with all joints and corners resealed and made water-tight. All fixing items, joints and corner areas were hand-touched to ensure proper sealing and roof was fully restored. Gutters were also cleaned in the process.

Feedback from Customer– Again, very happy with the results, especially how quick and thoroughly this had been done

Custom Tiling Installation

Requirement- Custom tiles were purchased and had to be installed including Mosaic tiles as a feature. Customer was struggling to get a tiler with no luck of anyone committing. The work required detail, patience and was finished carefully with a new exhaust fan and concealed wiring installed within the wall during the process.


Feedback from Customer– We booked a Tiler who had a lot of reservations about this job. Regi embraced this challenge and completed this work with great skill and competence. We are very impressed with his meticulous work and patience that contributed to a great looking kitchen.

Custom Outdoor Pet Area

Requirement- Custom solution was required to address mobility and hygiene issues for aging and deteriorating pet. Solution was customised so that pet was comfortable outside and issues with property damage was eliminated. This included:

  • Wet area flooring- designed and constructed for ease of maintenance and to eliminate property damage.
  • Fencing- temporary structure and easily removable when not required. This restricted pet’s access and avoided injury issues.
  • Enclosed safe area- designed and constructed to avoid rain, let sunlight in and was sealed to avoid any draught issues.
  • Ramp- Custom made with side rails at a reasonable gradient.

New Deck Construction

Requirement- New deck to be built at rear of property for outdoor area. 20sqm+ deck constructed with high grade decking timber, footing, post and medium-high grade load-bearing beams.

Existing Water Pipe Remediation and Protection

During fencing works, issues were discovered with plumbing that was not installed properly and posed as significant Health and Safety risk with a future maintenance liability for the property owner. Works had been carried out previously by utility provider and plumber. Worked with utility client and established networks to successfully remediate the issue at zero-cost and achieve the best outcome for the owner. Due to shallow piping on the owner’s property, we installed concrete casing to prevent pipe-strike for the area located in the garden.

Feedback from Customer– Hadn’t even realized that the piping was an issue until it was brought to my attention. Reginald was very quick to sort the matter out for me and had made all the necessary arrangements to get this issue fixed asap.
